Hi guysIm looking for pictures of an old tannery that used to be somewhere off Pudsey road in Bramley.Looked on Leodis without success.I think it was possibly around the Hare farm area. I think Hare farm is the building at the bottom of Corn Mill Court?I understand that is a listed building.Old pictures of that area would be great as well. Thanks.

When we were kids i use to live on Gamble hill Drive,my mum is still there and we use to hang around at the tannery which is if you look on google earth, the back of Gamble hill Green, the trees and the big factory which i think is a printers. apparently it went all the way down to Pudsey road. The Hare Farm you are thinking of is the houses in between the ring road and Pudsey Road, there is an old cottage on there but some new built houses that were built in 80's. the Corn mill Hotel was built on a garden centre and sheds (corn mill car park) i will ask me mam if she has any old pics for you could take me a bit though

You can still see some of the walls very clearly from the "ring road" next to Wickes. On the opposite side of the dual carriageway, next to wicks there are some industrial units, just behind them are the old walls of the tannery, quite plainly seen at the moment, due to a company clearing the area.On Google earthLattitude - 53°48'4.37"NLongitude - 1°37'46.63"WHope that helps
