I think that monologue of poor old Harolds demise at Hastings brought a smile to all our faces. Can I just take a minute to introduce to some of you the joy of modern day humourous poet - Les Barker.Les has done a series of 4doubleCD's for thecharity The British Computer Association of the Blind.Lots of well known people have given their services to make these recordings. One of these is another take on Harold - on his hawk with his hand up his horse.Other recent poems such as 'War is God's way of teaching George W Bush geography' - Daschunds with ere**tions can't climb stairs. And the theme poem of the charityCD's 'Guide Cats For The Blind. You can find clips on Youtube and all the CD's are available from his Mrs Ackroyd web site

Thanks for the introduction to Les Barker, dogduke. Why I've never heard of him before is a mystery - he's brilliant. Stayed awake far too long looking at his stuff on YouTube
