Please everybody sign the online petition and urge your friends to do so too. At least then no-one can say we didn't try.

First time posting on here...Is the intention of the petiton to save the Brewery & the beer or the beer and move to a different site, with another Brewery taking on the 'franchise' such as recent events with Newcastle Brown Ale?

The intention is , if possible, to save the Brewery AND the Beer. If that can't be achieved then the secondary aim is to have Tetley's bitter brewed to the same recipe at another site - but IN LEEDS .'Newcastle Brown Ale'??? don't you mean 'Tadcaster Brown Ale'?!

Doesn't have quite the same ring to it!

I have just signed but i dont think they will like my comments.I think it will have all been done and dusted before they bought Tetleys. In Leeds since 1822 does not mean a thing to Carlsburge profit is all that counts.
