Looking at that on google it might not be too accurate - I think it is closer to the Avenue Path than it seems to be on there, but it's around that location.I took a waypoint on my phone as I thought it could be a good location for a geocache.

It's been many years since the last post, a couole of days ago I Googled Temole Newsam, Secret Leeds out of curiosity before a bike ride with my sons and found this thread. Although a local, I did not know about this and it gave us something unusual to look for, a bit of mystery.
We found it very quickly and as the hole is gated now, it is much safer.

Bit of a poor one this,wish I had taken my powerful bike light Thus is from inside the entrance hole, phone held through the bars.
