Weekend Wobble

Well another weekend and another wobble - the site was down all morning wasn't it? Just unusual to find it back on before the man with the hammer returns on Monday morning

Its starting to get slightly ANNOYING now!I have been using the internet myself now since 1998 and i have never known a website like it. Ok once maybe twice you will get a few crashes and server errors but this is happening every week now!To tell you the truth im expecting to try and log on one day and the site just to be GONE!people have put some hard graft into this site so i think the least people can do is keep the damn thing running!

Don't moan too much, Brandy. Be thankful that we have SL. In the present economic climate losing the site for an hour or so is much preferable to not having it at all. Who ever would have imagined YTV disappearing from our fair city?

I am not sure if the server is housed in leeds somewhere, but it would appear that most of the city centre had an electrical surge at around 5am this morning knocking out my work's computers and playing havoc with intruder alarms. Maybe it was aliens?

Maybe it was aliens? The servers are in LS11 sirjohn, an outage would explain the rapid return to life rather than waiting till Monday. There was a similar event the other evening in LS1.BRANDY: I think alot of us know what you mean - maybe we could get some 'patches' made to ease the withdrawl symptoms when it goes awol
