Guys 'n' gals, sorry to start a new thread on this - I just didn't want to invade another!Am I right in thinking that this is the site of the new arena ? (in red, obviously!!)Ta!

Yes thats the one.Goodness only knows what they were thinking of putting it there..."Good public transport links" - no not really, not to most of Leeds and it's a long walk from the railway and bus/coach stations."Easy road access" - no not really. The area gets congested as it is. I've no idea how they thing the roads around there will cope with 12000 people arriving into the evening rush hour, or all leaving at the same time onto the notorious city centre loop. Yes, I know it's "close" the the Inner Ring Road, but there is no sensible direct access to it (especially for those wanting to head east), unless they plan on remodelling it all again.It's also going to be very close to a lot of residential housing - something neither the MEN or Sheffield Arenas are. I wonder how the locals will react?Good news that we're still getting an arena though...
