When???I did see one where you saw the 2 cooling towers of skelton grange in the distance of a cobbled street so thought that may be stourton.Twas a good 'un by a french photographic artist. He won't be as good as drapemeister though

During this Spring there was a small exhibition of pictures from that era and it was held for several weeks in the uncompleted ground floor of a huge new office block in Wellington Street (very near the end of that new footbridge)    I took in a couple of my small "snaps" of Rockingham Street Bus Station (enlarged a bit) and those appeared on the wall.    I think there was some kind of Yorkshire Post award in about June for the best entries - they must have lost my address as the silver cup hasn't arrived here yet. LOL
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

From the glimpses shown on TV, these are a must to see, anexhibition is indeed to be staged at the Museum.Perhaps Munki could fill us in with dtes for this?In the meantime, there are some examples on the show's website:http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/content/ ... lery.shtml
