I thought you guys might find something interesting in this new fickr group I've set up. It's all for local pictures that tell a story, or document the places history. Unusual tales, follies e.t.c. Picture quality is irrelevant (to a degree lol) It's the story with it that counts.
http://www.flickr.com/groups/picturebook/If you have anything good to add then please do, You can register for a free flickr account dead easy. There's already a few Secret Leedsers on there, Drapsey, Tasa. Kieren, J.F, Si e.t.c. It's a good place to host your pics and get a bit of feedback too.Cheers

Yeah, it's working now.I particularly like your shot of the tower on Castle Hill, Huddersfield. It's a shame your pictures of Emley Moor didn't come out. My dad's cousin was working there when the original transmitter fell down!

My dad's cousin was working there when the original transmitter fell down! Oh mate the wind was howling that night. We went to Caphouse colliery as an afterthought. That worked well. It was a real hoot at Emley moor. I lit the mast up perfectly from top to bottom with the big lamp. It was a sight for sore eyes. That's 1000+ foot high as well. We were all ready to jump in the car should anyone have issues with the light fantastic going on ha ha My mate got a good shot here.
