genius! i remember watching in on the James whale show in the early 90's and i was literally ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING isnt he from burmantofts??heres a clip from youtube the sound quality's a bit [edited for content] but charlie makes up for it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rstrzHXS ... =relatedil tell you summet else as well, that avvid merrion bloke as virtually lifted charlie chucks style and incorporated it into some of his main characters(just listen to his take on mel b) if i were charlie id sue him lol

he was uncle peter on the vic reeves show,i'm told he's from crossgates way.

He was indeed Uncle Peter - adn very funny too - but I always felt a bit uncomfortable watching him, - how much was an act and how much was alcoholism/mental illness? or is it just me?

"Woof bark. Donkey. Cakey pig" etc. He always made me laugh but feel his act was not for eberyone. Didn't he do an advert for Double Deckers chocolate bars too?

Think you could be right about the ad. Reg,As you say not every ones cup of tea but I thought he was really funny and loved the whole Reeves and Mortimer thing but not everyone "gets it"
