Replaced now by the latest sale variations from the sofa/furniture stores like scs,dfs etc. I say latest sale variation because they are permanently holding sales its just the payment terms that are slightly adjusted

Surely if all the planned cuts are needed cutting this extravagance is one that could be made with very little pain. Get rid of 'em.

A bit later this year. I noticed Greek Street had lights on Wednesday morning and Boar Lane on Wednesday night. Is the fact they are later in going up an indication of a later switch on. Also the Boar Lane display is much less elaborate than usual. I'm not sure if that's due to access issues due to building works at the old Bus Interchange. Or could both of them be a sign of LCC cost cutting in these austere times.

Well the switch on isn't, as I theorised, delayed http://www.leeds.gov.uk/Leisure_and_cul ... nment.aspx being the first Thursday after Bonfire night. The Kriskindlemarkt starts the day after and is on until a week before Christmas day. There won't be long to set it up as the Ladyboys begin a 2 week run next weekend
