I think the only thing stopping me would be that each cab holds 6 people...the inevitability of ending up with some strangers if you don't go with a group of friends...

This is a night-time view that includes the lit up Big Wheel taken at 19:19 today that I have saved from the Leeds Trinity Project webcam images. The Big Wheel started today. There were quite a lot using it and many queing to go on when I passed by around 11:15 this a.m., though I guess it was early interest and may slacken over the coming weeks.

Went on it today,two rotations per visit.Not bad actually,there is even a Leeds history audio commentry done by someone from Radio Aire.

Do you know cnosni if someone can go on the ride alone without having to share a cabin with stranger/strangers?

Hate heights, but given it was Leeds I decided to go on today. FOUR rotations, i had geared myself up for 2 but 4 later was not the best. good views of the north of Leeds, but too sunny to see the south properly

Nice pic from t'wheel looking east here: http://flic.kr/p/dVL5iDIt's also a good example of how different perspectives can be - look how close Ferrybridge power station seems!
