That's an instant dumping offence Steve. She knows it's a long read <G>.she is interested in history so hopefully we can survive her reading it:-)

I dont go into pubs in town much these days, but The Victoria is ok, we used to have Socialist Worker meetings in there sometimes on a Saturday afternoon after harassing people to buy the paper outside WHsmiths, does anyone know if they still sell it there on a weekend? Also does The Victoria still have Timothy Taylor ales?

At the moment I'm not working that night (this could change!) so if I'm not working, then I would like to come along. I should know if I'm working by the Sunday before

Getting very excited about meeting you all- I'll be bringing the Old Lamb scrapbook, John the owner of the Old Lamb and Ade the boyfriend of me And in Old Lamb news we are building up an application to get a grant for the restoration of listed buildings as the exterior walls are badly eroded and require 30K of work...so super mega thanks to everyone who helped out with the research into the building as your brilliant work is forming the basis of the appeal You lovely bunch x
