Was searchung IMDB for the opening shot of Billy Liar, which was filmed just off Green Lane, New Wortley, looking up to the old school. The one with the rooftop playground. Didn't find the clip I was looking for, but did find this list...http://www.imdb.com/List?endings=on&&lo ... land,%20UK

There is ascene in This Sporting Life where Richard Harris' character is being taken to hospital with broken teeth and the car he is being drivin in is filmed driving through Robin Hood / Lofthouse. The shot is taken from the old coking yard and you can see the miner's cottages adjacent to the road as the car goes by.

I remember the charlie drake series, it was called "the worker" I dont recall the opening sequence being in leeds though.

Hellooo Loiner pete i wondered where you've been.. Can i sway away from this thread a bit & ask if you have any info on those 2 old leeds coaches buried in the bushes? I think you posted some pics somewhere.. Do you have any contact details of where they are please? Can you mail or flickr mail me if you do? cheers :-)

The film 'Mischief Night' is filmed around leeds, beeston middleton and leeds markets are clearly seen in this film such a funny film id recommend it to anyone.
