The more I think about the aftermath of 'the big one' and the life for the 'lucky few' remaining - cold, obsured sun, no power or light, little heat, water gone save for any non-contaminated you can find, fresh food gone and not returning, processed food dwindling, no transport, disease and for many radiation effects later if not sooner with no medicine and a return to primitive behaviour without law and order save for the order of the fittest - somehow being in the middle of it at the time may be better, and fleeing wouldn't help, this would reach further than we can travel.A rather morbid reality isn't it?
