There was a place next door to Ringtons Tea on Lady Pit Lane in the fiftys that made meat pies.I cant remember the name of the place now, but i think pies were the only thing they made. We used to get them when i worked at Ringtons they took some beating it was a big place so they must have turned out hundreds of pies.

Fish been in the water too long and shrunk judging from the dimininshed potion size. What a shame, thought the first time this happened was a one-off, think they've lost a customer here

There's a shop in Pudsey called Bentleys - their pork pies are really nice.

For David BHi there,Seems likely that we're related!! - My mums' mum was Annie Kawalsky (nee Fox), the sister of my Great Uncle Joe (and Bennie, who was a second for the wrestlers in the 1960s-1970s).Sadly, my Nannie Annie passed away in 1985 and mum died in April 2009 (dad joined her in January this year). Please reply a.s.a.p., as it would be smashing to get in touch and we're starting up a family tree - so some imput from you/you close relations would be excellent.Best RegardsSteve Pollard
