Phew, can't hang around there too long, I start to sound like the SYP lads on Police Interceptors. The subscription scheme doesn't work and it's rubbish. So much the same.

Well according to the report in tonights YEP(article on Leeds Quarry Hill regeneration).....they quote Jonathan Morgan,from Morgans city living ".....and the new railway station already committed...." another YEP misquote ? or does somebody know something we don't !

Sorry Phill,admittedly I had a clue already....was being a bit pedantic I suppose.Point being really about the common misquotes(out of context) or attention grabbing might/could/should/would schemes that are often mooted in the local press."I am a very naughty boy" !

The seating area in the illustration looks to be precariously situated if it goes ahead. I foresee more people falling into the river there after having a few drinks (or even before)!

I can't believe the incongruous appearance of this affair - one which Prince Charles would definitely call a "carbunkle." My sympathies lie with the folks who've bought those flats for a nice riverside balcony and view. IMHO it looks just ridiculous. By all means a southern entrance to the station is a very worthy idea, and essential now, but I'm sure it needn't have looked like this, and certainly its costing far too much.

Why do Leeds have to make all their modern buildings look so plastic and space age? I know it's 2012 and maybe I need to move with the times but Leeds has some beautiful old architecture and designs as such just don't blend or even look decent. I don't recognise my old home. It's sad

On the website today the top stories don't appear to have changed from yesterday? No news to add in the last 24hrs then....
