I have seen some early pics of Leeds United as a team with some big buildings behind them, this I don't think was Elland Road but could have been a training pitch somewhere in the City. Could the Leeds Albion be the start of Leeds City of a spin off from other Leeds teams? Leeds Albion F.C played here. the grounds were part of the old 'Royal Park' estate but were built on in c 1890-1900 with back-to backs (the 'Royal Parks')
there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

The Royal Park pub has a bit of land behind it but I think that it was a bowling green at some time in the past and probably was built in the 50 or 60s.

Caron Think back.Think clearly, be calm and cast your mind back.Shut all else out.Your mothers mum sent her out.It was an errand. There was a brewery. It was malt.Just the one (a "single" you might say?).Posh stock, my Gran made do with a Barley Wine.Yours preferred a single malt, I like her style.

This had gone by 1908 with Royal Park Road being driven through the middle of it.
