LCC have stopped producing the weekly lists in the old format and now present the search under Open Access which takes an age of seperate searches to obtain an overview - doesn't lend itself to simple replication in a readable way - users such as the YEP would need to spend time and effort to reformat the data to do that Hmm. Just shows where they go for their ideas maybe.... Suddenly readable.http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/n ... 6713164.jp

Front page last night:"Today the robber who skipped bail is being bars after being jailed 11 years for his crimes"."Craggs was arrested in September 2003 and interviwed, and later bailed. But he jumped bail in May 2004 and went on the run across europe."Kids in primary school are expected to do better than this.

I was in the shop at half 6 this morning as he was opening up. Believe it or not, but the early edition Evening Post comes at the same time overnight as the morning nationals. It has been for quite some time as well. No wonder there's no news in the thing.

Did anyone notice the Faux pas (eh?) in the letters sectionregarding Nat King Cole's appearance at the Odeon Cinema? They dug out a load of artistes' photos,Shirley Bassey, Harry James,Ella Fitzgerald,to name a few. Came to the bandleader Ted Heath,But the picture was of our old Prime Minister The Rt.Hon.EDWARD Heath!!!. I suppose, with me being so ancient, I spottedthe difference right away! Could imagine the office junior being toldto sort the pics out, thinking, "Ah! Ted Heath,That must be him!"
