yes cardiarms I believe it is, I think its quite a rare thing nowadays, I love the layout of The Grove and The Packhorse, sometimes when you're in one of the side rooms supping ale with all your pals its almost like being at home! Had some great singalongs in The Grove when people start producing guitars and other musical instruments.

Wouldn't blame the mods for deleting this. But I found it highly amusing, it's Carry on Downtonhttp://youtu.be/WELXEAOkbds A cursory glance at the IMDB page for the blockbuster Downton Abbey shows that for three episodes in 2011 a character by the name of Mr Mason was played by an actor with the (surely) Leeds-based name of Copley. On top of this, the film editing for two episodes during the same series was the responsibility of Mick Jones. That's good enough for me. As Eric Idle said in that never-to-be-forgotten sketch which I can't remember the gist of...'Say no more. Er....., Squire'.

Not to mention the second boom operator and sound assistant for fourteen episodes during 2010 and 2011, whose name was Lee Sharp. We won't mention him. I prefer the Mick Jones link, however tenuous the connection.

Denby Dale is one of those jobbing actors of both the big screen and TV who has appeared in just about everything from soaps to blockbuster films. Never gives anything less than a first class performance. Just a bit of trivia.
