The view won't be too amazing...I mean, looking over Beeston and Holbeck...lol.

Passing by on a bus today on Vicar Lane there is already a lot of the frame erected. I was surprised just how near the structure looks to be to Vicar Lane, so it must occupy the very top end of the car park at Harewood Street.

Well, if it's up and running for the 22nd / 23rd, I'll give it a go.

Cashdisia (mens clothes), Kitchens (music) and the Wimpy (burgers) and other places. Ah, Double Two shirts. There seem to be decorations so it may have been taken around Christmas time. I went in that small Wimpy a few times but never into Kitchens nor Cashdisia (that was for old men!).     I think it may be Queen Victoria St Leo, not too sure though,

Hi Jogon. As far as I recall I never went into Cashdisia and so I thought it was a shop for old mens clothing, but I think I may have been confusing it with Greenwoods that I also never went into. Of course as an old foggie myself now I probably would use a Cashdisia, but M&S mainly does for me. PS. I remember the "sucky up cash tube things" in other stores. Great fun to see them in use. Mind you, I must be easily pleased as I like using self-serve machines (when they work!) and putting cash in and then waiting for the returned cash to drop out like slot machine winnings (not that I ever got many of those!).

I find it hard now to visualise what Queen Victoria Street looked like before it was converted to the roofed Victoria Quarter and so stopped being a road connecting Vicar Lane and Briggate.

Cashdisia, used to do a natty line in woodworking aprons, some of them came an inch above the knee and their boilersuits were to die for.
