Have finally got around to uploading the full Leeds Skyline panorama, which appears from time to time (albeit cropped) on SL as a banner, onto Flickr.If you view in original size you can see the time on the Parkinson building.http://www.flickr.com/photos/cnosni/8933042741/

Hi where is this view of the skyline? I am filming in Leeds tomorrow and would love to know the spot??

There is a discussion on this or a another thread about the location. CNOSNI took the photograph from the footbridge over the M621 just above junction 7 at Stourton. The footbridge is at Bell Hill (?) and is just off the A61 at Rothwell crossing over to Belle Isle. According to this https://goo.gl/maps/EEGtP its part of Orion Walk.

I also seem to remember it is slightly doctored to remove some of Hunslet's less pretty sights.

It looks like CNOSNI provided the rest of the panorama but it doesn't seem to be in the banner carousel
