I have failed the memory test.Was in Lofthouse Place last Sept, photographing Blenheim Lodge.I noticed the unusual railings, interesting to know what was the previous incumbent of these grounds.

I assumed they were for a school but the 1906 map shows and open space, not labelled as a park or gardens, and terraces. I really like them, they show a bit of thought, style and quality for something which is normally very functional nowdays.

it was the first ever nursery in Leeds.Now being turned into student flats
