It's alright for some! A chap who lives near me and works for the council pulled up in a wagon loaded with grit, gritted infront of his house and up a small access road that runs at the rear of his property and filled up bags of grit and stashed them in his garage! It's on the news that stocks of grit are running out,I know where there is some!!!

And where exactly is this - we do know some Council persons look on here, mind if he wants tospend five mins my way.......Our estate is very difficult - seen cars creeping down the slope on the way out only to carrer across the distributor road and stop when reaching the high kerb at the other side, all for a shovel or two of that stuff being spread towards the bottom

I normally like a few days of snow over a winter, i feel a little conned if we don't get any, I like the reassurance the country is the same as it was when i was a lad. I don't like anything 'total blizzard' just the odd day of a snow covering, but this lot is severe Siberian stuff, it's so bloody cold it isn't shifting, this snow isn't fun, it's HARD life lol It's great to photograph (If you can bother venturing outside in it tho)I took a trip to the snowy waist lands of North Yorkshire for an 'ice cave exploration' just berfore Xmas. It was DAM COLD but it produced some good piccies. They can be seen on the second half of this story at the bottom herehttp://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=265602590&blogId=514976849It was a revisit to a past dangerous mission that scared the pants off us without the snow,I do wonder about our sanity at times lol

took the dogs to Temple Nesam this afternoon for thier usual excercise, they loved it !Strange sight in the north plantation, sun was doing its best to shine, the snow melting and falling off the trees made it look like it was snowing just in the woods.
