The lights have gone out? I can't comment on this morning as unusually for rush hour traffic the bus I was on drove straight through it without stopping but this evening on the way out the only lights on were the floodlights with the wall lights totally off.

Maybe the lights have been stolen! Well nothing would surprise me nowadays.

I noticed this morning that the four or five panels nearest the Swinegate junction still had the tiny light bars lit up.

Having not been through for a couple of weeks I couldn't say when they were restored but all the lights were definitely back on for Monday5th September.

They were indeed tyke bhoy - and is it just my imagination or - has the wall on the right hand side city bound been altered to have more of the random lights lit at any one time ? could be that they were out that long they just stand out more now they are lit but I got the impression there were more strips lit than there used to be in the last few days.

I think they were all on. This morning they were flashing random patterns changing about once per second. I wasn't driving so I couldn't comment on how distracting that might be to drivers.

I noticed the 'disco' effect tonight - the ambient noises seem to have been turned up a notch too.
