There was a larger collected set of the Skinhead/Suedehead books that I found in a bookshop in London about ten years ago and never got around to buying. It's very out of print now. Richard Allen was a pseudonym for James Moffat, who was employed by New English Library, and churned out other 'youth culture' potboilers, including ones about bikers, mods and rockers, hippies, and glam rockers under a variety of other names. They tried a couple about punks later on but the magic had gone. They can often be found at car boot sales and charity shops if you know what you're looking for. The writer Stewart Home played quite a large part in reviving them and is trying to do so again.

Richard Allen, possibly under a different name! The books naturally seem to make their way from second hand shops to the pile next to the toilet, that's the best place to read them.
