This morning we have had a visit from the grass cutting contractors and I must say that they have really excelled themselves this time. The length of the grass together with the recent downpours has provided perfect conditions for these fine men to showcase their talents, skidding round churning up the verges, missing half the grass and leaving the rest in huge soggy clumps on the pavement. If there was an award given to the worst workmen this set of jokers would win hands down, and WE are paying for their wages.
