My daughter was moving house and we had to get rid of a kna**ered old tumble dryer. Before I could even get the car round to take it to the dump it was gone.. So not such a bad ting that time. However a few weeks later she was having a new boiler fitted when the fitters left the new boiler outside for a min while they cleared a space in the house, they came out and YUP, it'd gone.. They got it back luckily.

As to competant, it was the council fitting it????????

by coincidence I had one of these guys in front of me in court yesterday for nicking a grate off a cellar in Wakefield .it was one of those large iron victorian ones.He came from Leeds.he received six weeks curfew from 7pm-7am.This means that if he goes out at night(when he nicked it) he will be back in court and jailed.
Steve JonesI don't know everything, I just like to give that impression!

About a year ago, all the man-hole covers and grids on the lower section of Armley Road (near The Albion) were nicked. Apart from the cost and inconvenience of replacing them, it's bloody dangerous. Some of the new ones are bolted down.Steve, you should have got this bloke to walk around an area with the man-hole covers removed while blindfolded. Maybe he will then end up where he belongs - in the sh.......sewer!!!
