Exactly where is your village in Leeds?

I was 1947 born and brought up in Beeston near Cross Flatts Park. I attended the school of that name and then went on to Parkside Secondary Modern School. I now live in Calverley LS28. We have lived here for 31 years. I am passionate about Leeds although we live equidistant to Bradford which really sadly seems to have lost it's identity possibly at the expense of Leeds. Calverley is in fact still classed as a village as it is totally surrounded by greenbelt however tenuous it may appear. I have been interested in photography since my teens at Art School but totally analogue and 35mm B&W. I enjoy to process my own pictures and have a darkroom in our cellar. I hope to meet up with others who are also interested in photography + Leeds. Maybe there are Cafe meets. As I am retired I can do daytimes and I often have coffee at Cafe Nero on Albion Place because I can sit outside and smoke my pipe
