I'd like to go back to 1907 and watch the famous Hunslet "Terrible Six" pack and the team that won the four cups.I saw Hunslet lose in the 1965 final at Wembley. Our whole family went down for the weekend and we had grandstand seats because my Mum's cousin, Bill Ramsey was in the '65 final team. I'd like to go back to '65 and be the linesman who disallowed the John Griffith try, I wouldn't put the flag up, Billy Langton would convert the try and we would beat Wigan 21-20. It was a great game.Wiggy, I might have gone to school with you or your brother, Temple Moor 1963-68.

Hmmmm...I'd go up to Ilkley Moor and see who carved the 'swastika stone' and why. The jury's out on whether it's bronze-age or one of the Roman chaps stationed in the town... ... then I'd go further back and see why those neolithic/bronze-age blokes were making all the 'cup and ring' carvings...... And then I'd go look at what the Romans were up to at their camp in Adel. And see if they really did have a settlement in the area that is now Leeds city centre...... then I'd go see if it was the Angles who made 'the Rein' and the other huge earthworks out at Aberford. And the fellas who made Grim's Dyke...... And the battle of the Roses at Towton (if I could stomach it)...... And the battle of Winwaed near Seacroft... ... And the creation and destruction of Pontefract Castle...... And I'd love to see what the eastern boundary of Elmet looked like...Good job I haven't got a Time Machine. I'd go back to last week with the relevant lottery numbers....I wouldn't mind seeing the birth of the industrial revolution in Holbeck and Hunslet, or going to the races at Chapeltown, or seeing Seacroft when it was still a village out in the countryside.

There's a picture oe me with Dave in the Friends Reunited pictures of Temple Moor.Having said that, there were loads of Wiggys around Leeds 9!
