I noticed in the latest episode the 'Blue Shutters' nightclub was the old Bonhams auction house just down from the Town Hall. Not sure what it is now though.

There've been a few postings about this show already on the Leeds on Screen thread (last page or so)JD Can't really be bothered to watch it for some reason. (see At Home With the Braithwaites 2000-2003)Recall 'Fat Friends' by same author using Midgleys Fish & Chip Shop on Butcher Hill/Spen Ln parade.http://g.co/maps/nnsvuFor a while after Midgleys had a sign up in the shop saying proudly "AS FEATURED IN FAT FRIENDS TV SERIES".I think the owner thought any publicity=good and the irony was lost on him/her. But not the customers.Suffice to say as we "waddled in" and read it there were a few uncomfortable glances as we read it and thought about it.They took it down shortly afterwards as I think trade dropped off. For my part, I've cut down from 'twice and fish and a bread cake'.
