Hole the A660 causes traffic problems.

There has been extensive building and road widening there since the 1920's. Looking at Leodis and OS maps it's more than likely an old cellar that was just bricked up. After years of traffic the roof collapsed. Now like you say, tram or trolley buses....There must be others down that piece of Headingley Lane.
