Just outside the Armley area is New Wortley, which is at the forefront of the West Leeds Gateway Regeneration. The launch of the new community action plans go live on Fri. If anyone is bothered i'll post up links of where these can be seen from that day on.Lots of cracking new idea's to come to a final realisation that major things are changing for the better in our area.

Well looks like simon and Leeds lad have followed LS1 and taken a bucket of cnosni pills,boy am i glad im not the only one with a bit of fire in the stomach.Not an Armley resident myself,and i cant profess to know fully about this regen,but on my fairly regular pases through town street and the area in general then its quite clear that money is needed to improve the lot of everyone in the area.

Bloody hell, nowt much changed in either, cept for trees being smaller. However, in the second shot, some of the buildings in the foreground, to the left of the picture have dissapeared. Other than that I can't see much of a difference.

On the first pic the Hopes, between Armley Park school and Armley Park, are gone. As are most of the chimleys, I suspect.

On the first pic the Hopes, between Armley Park school and Armley Park, are gone. As are most of the chimleys, I suspect. Also, just noticed that the buildings opp the school are no longer there either. That space is now occupied by Wilkinsons, tesco's etc.Si, I didn't even know there had been a fire. Was it bad? Hope not.
