SOUNDS A LITTLE LIKE THE WIGGLESWORTH FAMILY SECRET THAT WE KEEP IN THE ATTIC.....HEARD OF THE JERSEY DEVIL??? ITS MOTHER(MOTHER LEEDS) IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN A WIGGY REALLY....THATS WHAT THE FAMILY LEGEND SAYS ANYWAY...I THINK ITS ON WIKI.
i do believe, induced by potent circumstances, that thou art' mine enemy?

If I can track down the case containing the stuffed cat.(Reported to have last been seen in a pub in Scarborough ,however the information given me is that a Professor Markham might have last had it before going to Canada), it will be a piece of strange Leeds history found, plus would be great for the museum!
Steve JonesI don't know everything, I just like to give that impression!

either Chris<LOL>. Seriously though I could really do with someone checking the newspapers for me.I am too busy at work to get time off to look and last time I tried to use the microfilm readers in the main Leeds library local history section,I couldn't get any spools to thread properly so gave up in the end!
