Shortly after the demolision of Kirkstall Power Station the area was used as a temporary heli-port for the transportation of VIPs to YTV.It was a short-lived venture and the cost must have been astronomical.The area is now a caravan park and mariner.

Quite a trip for a veteran plane. That's how they all came over during the war, with 'green' crews and no GPS!The 'Liberty Belle' must be very well maintained!
