You would think she would have more of an idea being a Leeds LassTV boss Dee aims to be 'really good'A new television production company has set up in Leeds with help from business support organisation West Yorkshire Ventures.Dee Marshall who was at ITV Yorkshire for 15 years and then worked for a number of independent television productions companies, has set up Really Good Productions. The company will be based in Chapel Allerton – a suburb of the city which is fast becoming a media "hub", with three other independent television production companies already based there.Dee says she is passionate about encouraging London-based commissioning editors to use northern talent such as producers, directors, editors, researchers and cameramen. She said: "I agonised about going it alone but in the end decided to go for it."She was helped by West Yorkshire Ventures, which is supporting a TV production company for the first time.It helped with business advice and money to bring in specialist advisors.Dee said: "I was particularly nervous about the financial side of things but Leeds-based accountants, Armstrong Watson, who already represent a number of media companies in the city, have been a fantastic support."The company will be looking to secure commissions for television programmes from all the major broadcasters in the UK – the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five.Really Good Productions will specialise in factual and factual entertainment programming.Posted: Thursday, August 09, 2007
Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

(This one's for your amusement dsco)You would yes, and for a Really Good Production, you do need Really Good research assistants. Now I'm not against helping anyone, actually, I'm Really Good at it, but you Really Would expect a professional to be Really Good at helping themselves a little. This one seems Really Good at sitting back and waiting for the answers on a plate without having a Really Good look round the site first, not Really Good at all!Did you notice that the opening message contained no breaks. Aside from a splattering of Question and Exclamation Marks it contained only one fullstop. Which was in the middle two phrases which were (as written) one Really Good long sentence!.How ever I am heartened - they will be Really Good Productions though if the programmes don't have any breaks either - that'll mean no adverts!
