SPLAY=FULL SORRY - Thanks for all the effort. My cousin told me about the chapel and I visualised it in the wrong place. I thought I'd gone and seen it in that place, but when I spoke to him he confirmed what he saw was the Chameleon located Wesleyan methodist Chapel. Our family were staunch Wesleyans and he tells me Wesley preached on Seacroft Green. The chapel is old but delightful inside, when he went in they asked him if he was a property developer! Thanks a million Dave - theres so many kind people on here able to offer links etc, TA!!!!!

Phill has posted a few pics of the old Grange in Seacroft which realy has almost dissappeared, little left inside and it can only be a matter of time before the shell of this once magnificent building starts to crumble. The roof was 'borrowed' some years ago.I'm sure phill won't mind me copying his post into this thread for those who may be interested:Phill_dUser Location: LeedsJoined on: 21-Feb-2007 10:52:59Posted: 2545 posts # Posted on: 26-Jun-2008 02:10:03.    Quote I had a look in Seacroft Grange Chameleon. I can confirm your worst fears. The place is gutted and trashed from top to bottom. There are no upper floors. The downstairs floors are rotten and in a state of collapse. All the fireplaces have been ripped out. Basically there is nothing except destruction. That about sums up a piece of Leeds 380 year old heritage. The grand staircase was missing, so I presume it's in storage as mentioned before. I've only put a few pictures on flickr because.... well really there wasn't anything left to take a picture of. I've e-mailed a few organisations asking if they want to make use of some of the pictures and highlight the state of the place. I can send you some if you like to see more Chameleon. The few pics i've put up are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/The amazing adventures of the L.H.E.Shttp://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=265602590&blogID=370805665http://flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/
