Why does Barnsley have credit when its been everywhere else?

It doesn't really, it's just the author's experience of asking a question about a "whale in tarn" and the ensuing research that went on primarily between several interested parties on said internet forum. I guess he could just be arsed writing a book about it others with the same experience in other towns and cities didn't.
