Does anyone WANT to know where the first 24 hour petrol station in Leeds was??Or shall I wait until it becomes a quiz question?I keep trying to delete this message because it makes me sound a bit pompous-for which I apologise.

Ouch! - never noticed that drapsey, but you're right, I clicked the 'bottom' rather than the top button didn't I?Still, at least there were buttons, we had to make do with safety pins. (This is going to get silly isn't it!!).I am going back about 40 years with my suggestion, thinking of thelate night dashes on the back of my firend's scooter so we could get home!

Britain's first self-service petrol station was also in the Leeds area. Anyone know which one? (It's still there.)
