Look North did a report on it last night. It also featured as one of Keeley's weather photos at 18:55 in a blue sky over south bay at Scarborough.

A friend of mines son was part of a Vulcan crew and his father told me that during his 2 or maybe 3 years intensive training even the walls of their kitchen in quarters was decorated out as the cockpit / interior of the plane. think he was taken off at the age of 25 as being too old. (Not too sure about the last bit)

We had all types of Planes when I was in the Air force, the Bristol Brittania, the black Javelin that broke the Height world record, many other jets from various parts of the world, even Concorde but the sight of the Vulcan taking off and landing will always stay with me.
