chrismThe last time I was stunned by 'driver rudeness' was years back on the No1 bendy Infirmary St (pre-Ainsley crash).Not feeling too well, I pottered t'wards empty opened doored bus.Driver sat with pained look and so I assumed not yet ready/counting up or summat.Gave him a mo then asked if he was 'open' - he sort of shouted "State destination and tender exact fare".Had expected a cheery Leeds "yes luv, where d'ya wanna be".Me and the old lady in the queue looked at each other in amazement. We then both gave him our finest James-Finlayson-look as we boardedThe 2 I've mentioned have, though, been exceptions who prove the rule..

An unknown 3rd party has expertly inserted an s here. Clearly the unblinking eye of the Administrator is at work exercising the dark art of remediation of typos. (Not being paranoid, but will he be aware of this change?)

Given the naming of those buses often seen heading for the leafy suburbs of North Leeds, perhaps they should name one "John Poulson" ?As for Mr Slow, a certain route heading north out of Leeds seems to have drivers with concrete in their shoes, I'm sure the "Stig" is one of the drivers.

He used to do the Roundhay buses but I've not seen him about for a few years. The rest have been either nondescript, rude or dam right obnoxious, and one of those is an obnoxious pig in real life (a more unpleasant man you could never meet) as I used to deliver his post, a job that involves dealing with the public, and one I didn't treat them like I was a rude pig.
