It is a niche market where seeds are specially grown and cold pressed, and the manufacturers charge a ridiculous price for something they claim has something special. Rapeseed is a reasonably healthy oil, but the claims made by these producers are grossly exagerated. Most of the very cheap stuff labelled just "Vegetable Oil" is Rapeseed Oil Hi Caron, Farsley is fine! The council have just demolished the public conveniences next to Farsley DIY and made a little grassed area with a bench! Looks nice! How long will it last? don't know! You are correct chemimike it was in a fancy bottle and I didn't realise that veg oil is rape seed oil! You learn something every day on this site!
