R I P Jimmy you were a credit to Leeds a real showman on the outside and a Leeds lad on the inside. I think there should be a statue of Jimmy put up in Leeds. I know the very spot to put it im shure there is room at the entrance to the old Mecca.The place were Jimmy started is climbe to fame.
No matter were i end my days im an Hunslet lad with Hunslet ways.

Beeb says there is a book of remembrance in "Savile Hall opposite the Royal Armories" where is that then?I can't recall it.

I'd no idea where that is either - however a quick Google and http://www.savileshall.co.uk/page.php?id=16It's on Clarence Dock adjacent to the Armouries. Shame they couldn't put the book of remembrance somewhere more people could get to it, like the Town Hall or the Civic Hall.
