I suspect that they will know anyway and be responsible for it in the guise of planned maintenance outside working hours when the servers maybe more available perhaps? The likliehood is that like Secret Leeds, the site is hosted by an ecternal commercial company rather than the Local Government estate.

That's where Secret Leeds was Hosted until a couple of years ago when it went to ....Manchester even though the site belongs to Marketing Leeds. It's certainly Council sponsored I believe but not Council funded.

As a former Railtrack/Network Rail employee I can confirmthat there is no similarity at all.8pm will probably mean 8pm,not so with weekend lineblockages

It's even worse when there's a bank holiday cos they have a bank holiday Tuesday as well. Are you sure about Tuesdays at Bank Holidays, Chrism? I ask because I worked for a public body with close links to local authorities. I was successful in abolishing Tuesday closures in my organisation at Bank Hols because they became incompatible as Local Authorities in Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield at least, worked the Tuesdays. Can't speak for Leeds, but Bradford works on Bank Hol Tuesdays.BTW, the "lost" Tuesdays were added to annual leave, to be taken when individuals wanted - much better than previously. I'd do away with Bank Holidays altogether. Anachronisms in this day & age.

There is a long debate about this whiich concluded that tha majority of routine functions continue to emjoy A second 'dsy off''after some Bank Holidays in Leeds. Seems demondtrably to be the case.
