It will make a valuable archive. http://www.gateshead-pubs.com/4595.html Nice to see the Azure Blue, the Crown, the Honeysuckle and the Five Wand Mill again, Geordie-Exile! All old haunts of mine!

Indeed. If only we had a website with a pm facility we could discuss off topic stuff without cluttering it.So, just a final word about Forth Lane - a passage that reminds me a lot of the ones off Kirkgate and Briggate. I don't know if the city arms plaque is there because it is indeed close to the site of one area of the town walls, or whether it's for the building itself, which now houses Newcastle Arts Centre, which has some interesting information on its website:http://www.newcastle-arts-centre.co.uk/history.htm The PM facility is unlikely to arrive but as dsco suggests, there is an abundance of social networking sites which exist for this purpose already - an exchange of addresses tolocate people is enough to get started. Secret Leeds already has a group set up by munki yonks ago:http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=8404935129

My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!

'tis a pity too. That's the problem with a lot of these sites, usually no content moderation so all sorts gets in. We get it here too from time to time but at least between us we can deal with it quickly

Hardly appropriate! Take a look through the member list to see if there's anyone there you want to contact. You can use the flickrmail option. And you can add a few photos of non related Leeds to the group I guess. The group was mainly another way for people to keep in touch when S.L went down, as it seemed to do every weekend at one time.
