GYGAFO were ace, I have their album. I'll upload it so anyone who wants can have a listen to their 1973 masterpiece, infact it's their only album. The first concert I ever saw was Dave Bowie at the Rollarena in 1973. It was the last but one gig on the Ziggy tour before he killed him off at Hammersmith. I have seen loads of bands at the Uni/Poly/Town Hall (I was at the Mott gig too)/Queens Hall. I saw Be-Bop at The Staging Post as well, Bill Nelson is an excellent guitarist and a good Yorkshireman to boot.
Gary Numan never sang cars in a "C5", it was Down In The Park, and certainly not in 1983 on the Warriors tour. I was on the front row with my dad's camera! Tik and Tok supported you are right there.
I was lucky enough to know Mott the Hoople and see them for free in the pubs around Bromyard and Ledbury when in my late teens. One thing I can say is that fame never changed them and they were a "What you see is what you get" group. ... Brilliant
Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

I saw The Jam and Clash at Leeds Uni about 1979ish. Paul Weller stopped the concert because he was spat at it didnt start again until he had picked out who did it.
