"Have turned off flash"Street View, needs Adobe Flash 10, it will tell you this, and supply the link to download.Sometimes it will "hang" with just a black screen.

A part of the street where I live has been removed, also a private driveway to some flats.I suspect someone has asked for the removal.

lol no, i've not turned off flash, i've turned off the flash and ad blockers.no matter, it's decided to work in IE. Burley Road hasn;t been updated, unless they managed to catch the inebriate on the wall outside the medical centre a second time.the bit of my street that's been removed no longer shows a black screen and a message, now it just zips over about 15 houses in one go
