Another,earlier,view from Beeston Hill.Never seen this one before either.(not sure whats going on with the bloke and the cow,maybe hes the man who discovered milk )There is another one,which has a gate/turnpike in it but i cant seem to find that one

Turner was a frequent visitor to Farnley Hall near Otley.He was a close friend of the owner Walter Fawkes and did a lot of paintings in the surrounding area while staying there.

I remember seeing a reproduction of a Turner watercolour of Gledhow Hall.http://www.fgvw.co.uk/html/woods/gledhallhistory.htm states that it is now in private hands.
