Wonderful photographs. I can't wait to see them all.Judging by the angle I think No 2 is taken from Woodside View at its junction with Bankfield Road on the left and Burley Wood Crescent on the right. I used to live in BWC many years ago.No 3 is taken from above what were then platforms 1 & 2 in the old Midland Railway part of Leeds City Station. Kirkstall Power Station also appears to be in the background on picture No 8

He shot quite a few around Burley, particularly on the streets between Cardigan Road and Kirkstall Road, where Radio Aire and Yorkshire TV are. Unfortunately it seems that the regional Inside Out programmes aren't being put on iPlayer at the moment so we'll have to wait until the museum puts on the exhibit.

The one with the power station type structure could be Kirkstall but I can't work out where the church is? Hi LS13 The steel structures in the back ground are gas holders. But i dont know were it was taken

The Church is St.Clement's - with its very distinctive tower.. It was at the bottom end of Chapeltown Road - demolished 1976. On the left edge of this picture you can see one of the gas -holders, the photo was taken whilst it was relatively empty. As for the original pic posted by LS13,judging from the relatively position of the church and gas holders (which were/are? on Sheepscar St North) I would say the picture was taken from an area just to north side of Barrack Road - looking almost exactly south -west. Shadowy building in the centre is possibly part of the old barracks. Ee that lad's holding the bat all wrong - hope Boycsie doesn't see it - he'd have a fit.

there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.
