Perhaps someone can confirm this is the case or not. Thanks. They are currently redeveloping the Woodhouse Lane carpark so it is up to scratch to be used as one of the official car parks for the arena. Thanks Mork of Ork and apologies to Bruno. That I thought it was undergoing demolition is clearly my error. Note to self I must check things are what I think they are before posting. Red-faced me!

Hicklingmick - having lived in Leeds for over twenty years I would suggest that driving into the city would be a very last option, parking at one of the stations on the outskirts is, in all honesty, not a much better idea either as most of them are served by an hourly service, if the train turns up at all.Tyke boy and Ravetdavey have come up with the best suggestions in my mind - either catching the 110 service into Leeds which is fast, direct and frequent ( one every ten minutes hence the route number ) or parking at the White rose and getting any one of a multitude of buses from there into the city - incidentally there are no restrictions on parking at the White rose. Also of course, assuming you are of a similar age to your wife you will be able to travel on the bus for free with your ENCTS cards.
