When searching the excellent Leodis website for something else I wondered what was the oldest dated item in Leodis and found this for 1694. The drawing is stated to be taken from Leeds Corporation Court Books and depicts a scene in 1694 of a ducking stool at Lady Beck, Mabgate. This is a link to the entry:- http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... SPLAY=FULL
I wonder if the Leeds Corporation Court Books are publically available to see?
